Review by hotel critic
Ram Guest House offers a prime location, just a stone's throw away from the railway station and within walking distance to the beach, making it ideal for both business and leisure travelers. The ambiance is delightful, with a charming balcony on the second floor providing a serene space to work or unwind while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. The friendly Manager and staff ensure a warm welcome and are always ready to assist, adding a personal touch to your stay. While the property may not boast luxury, it provides all the essentials at an affordable price. The heritage house features a terrace offering picturesque city views, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Pondicherry. The option for bike and car hire makes getting around the city a breeze, adding convenience to your travel experience. However, the compact and poorly ventilated toilets may not be suitable for those seeking extra comfort and space. Despite this minor drawback, Ram Guest House remains a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a cozy retreat in the heart of the city. If you value a central location, friendly service, and a charming atmosphere, this guest house is worth considering for your next stay in Pondicherry.
